Adrian's Contract not being renewed
Question is will they replace or save money and let Trott be number 2

I think I can safely say there won’t be a 26 transfer turnover of players Alf

Re: Adrian's Contract not being renewed
No gripes with Adrian. He needs to play.

We do need to offload or at upgrade ( which means squad place not starter ):

Obiang (Sell for as much as we can get )
Carroll ( Bury)
Ogbonna ( Sell if possible )
Cresswell ( Upgrade)
Hernandez ( sell if poss for anything 10M+ )
Antonio ( Sell for 10M+ hopefully )
Noble ( Upgrade )
Sanchez (Bin)
Snodgrass ( Upgrade )
Reid ( Pay off / sell / get rid )
Wilshire ( ideally Bin but probably stuck with him)
Masuaku ( sell for as much as we can get)
Hugill ( sell anything over 5M)

I wouldn't swap either Pickford or Pope for Fabianski

Agreed but would have Pope as replacement for Adrian would be a decent back up and give Fabianski a bit of competition.

Neither Trott nor Anang are ready for the first team.
If you are still doubtful about this, I suggest you pop down to Rush Green and watch them.

Re: Adrian's Contract not being renewed
Has been a good servant for West Ham. Doubt he is paid a fortune, never injured and not a cunt. Always played for the shirt and put a shift in when called upon. However, probably best for all parties that he is moved on considering lack of playing time. Doesn’t deserve slagging off. Reserve that for other players in our squad not fit for purpose

What gank said.

(I hate it when he says things which are impossible to disagree with)

Having Alex V on your side should ring alarm bells, Athletico Easthamico, and not confirm your point in any way.

Faubert went to Real Madrid, I think they're bigger than us :-)

I am joking here, he may have gone, but fuck knows what they were thinking!

Wish someone threw you under the bus gank, you fucking wing-defence cunt.

Re: Adrian's Contract not being renewed
It's simple. He's our 2nd best goalkeeper. If we think he's crap, get a better one than him and re-evaluate. He's still better than the next generation so we can't rely on letting him go and using them. Remember Bywater's debut? Talk about throwing him under the bus!

Ageed - Gotta love Adrian for the penalty against Everton - chucking those gloves off showed his desire and determination

Re: Adrian's Contract not being renewed
I Read somewhere we was interested in Pickford for around 40 mil as Everton wanted Pope for 10 mil Obviously Newspaper/Agent Rubbish as it between us and Manchester Utd "fighting over his signature" They want him as De Gea could be leaving as he is out of contract (Which again could be more fake news with club trying force him to stay for less)

The only bit of the story that interested me was Pope could be available for 10 mil, If so that worth a punt

Re: Adrian's Contract not being renewed
Adrian has always had loads of flaws in his game that have never gone away. He has struggled to hold down a place with Randolph, Hart and Fabianski all preferred. Although I love his passion, I bet he is on a good bit of wedge and would want more money to stay anyway.
It's probably better to move him on, let him get gametime somewhere whilst he is at his peak and probably earn more dosh. I'm not sure why keepers have become ridiculously expensive.

Our current keeper is the best we have had for many years. Hasn't he made the most saves in the league? Shows how porous our defense is and he has saved us a fair few points and from much bigger drubbings. Our defending as a team is probably the worst it's been in a long time.

Let him go, celebrate his time at the club and his commitment and bring in another understudy who has talent, could be a regular if injury happens and is going to push for starts.

Alex V, thanks, the voice of reason.

Yes, physical decline is what I was getting at.

He's had shit in front of him and so has Adrian.

I'm sure Adrian would have loved to have played with Diop, Balbuena and Rice.

He's getting an unfair rap.

>>> What is magic about 31 and 32 when you can improve that stops at 33?

It's more physical decline than any change in the ability to learn, I would guess.

"IMO"

So an arbitrary judgement because you like one keeper and not the other then.

Good to know.

Re: Adrian's Contract not being renewed
Age, the sands of time. Can't see Fabianski getting any better. This is probably just an Indian summer in his career.

Adrian even if 2 years younger can improve with better players in front of him. IMO.

Generally.

Yes

So again what happens at 33 that stops a keeper improving, when he can at 31 and 32 - as you have said?
